Closing the Learning Gap and Shaping the Future of Out-of-School Time

The hours kids spend outside the classroom matter. Afterschool and summer are when youth are most at risk of falling behind, and they're also when the right opportunities can make the biggest difference. That's why ARF invests deeply in kids during these hours, and the results speak for themselves.

This year, our impact has also reached well beyond our own programs. From national workforce innovation to statewide advocacy, countywide capacity building, and citywide planning, ARF is helping shape the future of out-of-school time so more young people have safe, enriching opportunities, and the people and organizations serving them have the support they need.
