Marketing & Communications Manager

Join the Andy Roddick Foundation team as our next Marketing & Communications Manager and help us elevate our brand, grow our supporters, and share the powerful stories of the young people and families we serve. For 25 years, ARF has worked with the Central Texas community to expand opportunities for young people to learn, thrive, and succeed—especially during the hours outside the traditional school day.
In this role, you will:
Develop and lead marketing strategies
Manage our digital presence and social media platforms
Craft compelling content and fundraising messaging
Track performance and adjust for impact
Support event communications and donor outreach
We’re looking for someone with:
3+ years of mission-driven marketing experience
A strong portfolio of storytelling and digital content
Experience managing websites, social platforms, SEO, and design tools (such as Canva or Photoshop)
A passion for equity, youth development, and community impact
Bonus if you have fundraising campaign experience or donor communications skills.

Internship - AmeriCorps VISTA Donation Systems

Description:
The City of Austin AmeriCorps VISTA Program works with City departments and local nonprofits to build capacity, in order to provide resources and services to the Austin neighborhoods and communities that may otherwise be left behind by Austin's historic disparities and future growth. The AmeriCorps Members serving with the City of Austin AmeriCorps VISTA Program work in such diverse fields as education, health, waste reduction, and housing to cover the myriad ways poverty affects these neighborhoods and communities.
Member Duties:
Refine existing Andy Roddick Foundation donor retention systems and develop new ones. Research donor retention systems at similar nonprofit organizations. Develop and refine donor stewardship policies and metrics in order to improve the Foundation’s donor retention rate. Develop, refine, and implement policies to improve donor retention by using the Foundation’s donor database, Raiser’s Edge. Create a new system of organization to make donor data more readily available. Develop donor tiers and create a system that assigns Foundation staff action items in Raiser’s Edge. Increase fundraising prospects for the Andy Roddick Foundation. Research corporate giving programs and individual philanthropy. Research fundraising events at similar nonprofit organizations. Research grants available to Andy Roddick Foundation. Create a database of potential partnerships and opportunities, including potential opportunities for existing partners to increase their financial contributions.
Requirements:
This is a 12-month term in an AmeriCorps VISTA role. Applicants must be a college graduate and at least 18 years of age.
