Cindy Nguyen, GirlForward

This month's Staff Spotlight is Cindy Nguyen, Program Coordinator at GirlForward! This month we're hearing from Cindy's supervisor, Becky Aleman, who nominated her for the care and passion she brings to the GirlForward girls every day.

According to Becky, Cindy radiates care and passion and is determined to support all GirlForward girls with what they need, not only to succeed but to feel seen, heard, and confident. That dedication shows in the relationships she builds. The girls love and trust Cindy and are always thrilled to see her at school or during Camp GirlForward.

Cindy is also a true artist, and she uses her incredible artistry to create meaningful opportunities for the girls. Whether she's helping them feel beautiful and celebrated while taking their graduation photos or creating space for self-expression through zine making and storytelling, Cindy pours her heart into her work. This year, girls showed off their grad photos and zines with great pride, a testament to Cindy's passion and dedication.
