Audrey West, Del Valle ISD
Our Staff Spotlight for May 2025 is Audrey West! As an ACE/LEAD Instructor at Creedmoor Elementary, Audrey supports students’ academic development and helps them find and express their unique interests beyond the school setting.
She hopes to expand her skillset into special education and bilingual programs. Her ultimate goal is to bring a holistic approach to education, engaging with students’ individual backgrounds to help them learn, grow, and discover their passions.
Audrey’s advice to other OST professionals is simply to give it our all. Educators in OST are often the most direct connection students have to their school and community - it’s an extraordinary opportunity to show students the love, care, and attention they need.
She also reminds us to look for powerful experiences in surprising places. Her students took their OST soccer program to the district finals and WON. The hard work, energy, and excitement they found playing soccer gave them the fulfillment every student deserves!
