The City of Austin AmeriCorps VISTA Program works with City departments and local nonprofits to build capacity, in order to provide resources and services to the Austin neighborhoods and communities that may otherwise be left behind by Austin's historic disparities and future growth. The AmeriCorps Members serving with the City of Austin AmeriCorps VISTA Program work in such diverse fields as education, health, waste reduction, and housing to cover the myriad ways poverty affects these neighborhoods and communities.

Member Duties

Improve and expand the Learn All The Time Network online resource library in order to provide Network members with valuable tools and resources to support their quality improvement efforts. Continue to improve the communication and processes related to the Youth Outcome survey data dashboard, in order to strengthen buy-in and perceived value, ultimately allowing the Network to better demonstrate our collective impact and lift up youth voices. Prepare the Andy Roddick Foundation and their community partnerships for the conclusion of the VISTA project.

Requirements

This is a 12-month term in an AmeriCorps VISTA role. Applicants must be a college graduate and at least 18 years of age.
